Seniors Foot Care

We have been providing foot care service in Caregiving Centres for the elderly in City of Toronto Homes for the Aged since 1997. Our clinic also serves several Community Centres and Retirement Homes in the city.

Looking after your feet at any stage of life is important. As you get older staying on your feet and keeping mobile are particularly important for general health and well being. Foot problems develop as a part of the aging process. Without timely intervention, there can be irreversible deterioration of the feet.

Specialist Foot Care is required to treat problematic toenails and to monitor conditions such as diabetic feet and wounds. Long Term Care Facilities do not employ a Chiropodist/ Foot Specialist. They contract independent Foot Specialist to provide these services.

Chiropody service is provided on site of the Caregiving Centre. Our Mobile Foot Services Foot Care specialists provide a comfortable, safe and caring setting for the residents in a clinic area on each unit. Sometimes the care may have to be done in the resident's room. Typically, residents receive treatment approximately every two months, or depending on the individual need and the foot condition. This essential service being offered to your family member can be critical in some cases and at the very least serves to maintain their overall comfort and well being during their stay.
